Meghan Rohrbaugh is from Newton, PA. She is 22 years old and a May 2009 graduate of The Catholic University of America where she earned his BS in Biology. While at CUA, Meghan was a tutor in the DC Reads program, participated in a mission trip to Jamaica, was a member of the Biology Club and Career Services Advisory Board, a member of a small faith sharing group and was also a participant and committee member of the campus Relay for Life. She has also been a camp counselor for young children. Meghan will apply all of her skills, experiences and interests as a Youth Mentor at Vincent House in Syracuse. “I understand that living simply and volunteering will be a difficult transition and tough at times, but I also feel that I should take advantage of this great opportunity. Not only will it offer me the obvious - to grow in faith and help those who are less fortunate than me - but it will enable me to grow as a person...and I hope to form friendships with those who are also participating. ”
