Jordan Differding, 22, is from Minneota, MN and a May 2010 graduate of St. John’s University where he earned a BA in Communications and Spanish. Like many of the other FrancisCorps volunteers, Jordan has had much volunteer experience here and abroad. In the States, he has been a camp counselor and group leader and abroad he has participated in two service trips in Guatemala and Peru. Jordan loves working with kids and he will assist several teaches at Fernando Centeno Guell School for blind, deaf and physically challenged children in San José, Costa Rica. “Making a commitment to volunteer for a year is a big step in my life. Reading the FrancisCorps mission statement many times has made the decision a lot easier for me. I feel a great connection with FrancisCorps as I am looking to develop these aspects of my life. I believe through volunteering, living simply, praying and reflecting, FrancisCorps will guide me to the answers I am looking for in the best and clearest possible way.”
