Laurie Mc Comas is 22 years old. She is a native of Wilmington, NC and a May 2007 graduate of Wake Forest University where she earned a BA in Political Science with a minor in Latin American Studies and Spanish. She was an active member of the Wake Forest Catholic Community. Fluent in Spanish, Laurie studied Salamanca, Spain and participated in service trips to Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. She has worked as a research/office intern in Washington, DC Community. Laurie will use all of her language, teaching and cultural skills as the Assistant Director of Proyecto de Trabajo Social at St. Francis School in San Jose, Costa Rica.
