El Centro Nacional de Enseñanza Especial Fernando Centeno Guell is the newest placement site for FrancisCorps Volunteers in Costa Rica. Located about two miles from the FrancisCorps residence in Moravia, San Jose, Centeno Guell is located in Guadalupe and is three schools in one: one for blind, one for deaf and one for mentally challenged children. The FrancisCorps volunteer is able to choose one particular school and minister as teacher assistant or youth mentor.
