As Advent draws to a close and with Christmas just ahead, the FrancisCorps volunteers have been busy getting ready. On December 19th, FrancisCorps 17 Costa Rica volunteers Johanna and Erin traveled to Los Chiles, an impoverished area on the outskirts of Alajuela in Costa Rica, with Friar Antonio to help give gifts to the local children and celebrated with a small party for them.
On December 20th, FrancisCorps 17 in Syracuse participated in the Christmas at Greccio Living Nativity at the Franciscan Church of the Assumption. Marie helped out by playing both guitar and flute, Corrinne shared a reading, Ana participated as a caroler, Joe was both a caroler and represented Joseph in the Living Nativity, and Blake played guitar, was a caroler and represented Saint Francis in the Living Nativity!
All of us here at FrancisCorps wish you and your loved ones a very merry and loving Christmas and a very wonderful and blessed New Year!
